Creativity Advocate

Do you have a bad case of "I Can't?"
I can't write that; I'm not good enough.
I can't submit that book for publication; there are too many books out there that are so much better.
I can't draw as well as that person so why should I try?
I am too old to get started with photography.
My voice isn't that good; I can't hope to sing in a choir.
My kids are probably the only ones who would appreciate my art.
Ok, let's just stop that right now.
The disease of "I Can't" is suffocating your entire life. Imagine what possibilities await if you were confident in your ability to create!
My motto is: If you breathe, you have a story to tell. You don't deserve to live with the disease of "I Can't" any longer. Your story is too important to be held back by lies.
If you are visiting this page, my guess is that you may not feel confident about your gifts, your "story," or you know someone who feels that way. Allow me to explain what creative advocacy is and let's get to that place of confident creativity in this new and exciting way!
Based on my experience (see the About page) as a writer, teacher, blogger, performer, and much more...
Here is what you can expect from your Creativity Advocate:
*a set of eyes and ears to read your writing manuscript from start to finish
*assistance with assembling a solid creative manuscript of poetry/fiction/creative nonfiction which means learning how to strategically place poems or stories as well as editing and proofreading
*guiding you through the maze of available publishers, contests, etc., and helping you find the ones in which to invest your time
*encouragement and empowerment meetings via email, Skype, Zoom, meeting locally, or whatever fits your needs
*teaching you how to create, market, and facilitate your own creativity workshop (in whatever medium that fits you)
*ability to email me with questions and receive a response within 24 hours
*teach or enhance your blogging skills
*the option of a discount on future classes I privately teach (details TBD)
*use of me as a reference: after our time working together, you may list me as a reference for jobs, workshops, residency programs, etc. I will be able to address your creative drive and pursuits on both a personal and professional level
*more options TBD
Are you new at this and need help identifying your own gifts? Or are you a veteran and find yourself in a rut, unable to pull yourself out?
For those who are beginners, advanced, and everyone in-between, I've detailed enjoyable and innovative ways to assist you in your journey. Together, we will also come up with more things that tailor to your unique needs.
Vision boards? Writing prompts? Email check-ins? Blogging lessons? One-on-one poetry mentoring? Manuscript editing? All these things and more are possible having a creativity advocate by your side.
Fee: This will differ depending on the offerings you require. Contact me personally to inquire.
You were born to create. Let nothing stop you.
